fuel your awesome.

eat what you want. hit your targets. listen to how your body responds.

hi, i’m jessika brown.

I’m fueled by faith, fun workouts, and food that nourishes both body and soul.

Oh, and coffee. Lots of coffee.

I am a wife, mom, boss, cross-fitter, and self-proclaimed ornithologist (bird watcher). I believe that in order to give life our best, we have to have health woven into the basic fabric or our day. My mission here is to help you figure out how to make that happen for you.

As a Registered Dietitian (RD) I have been working in the health industry for the last 13 years. I run a medical nutrition therapy clinic and am an adjunct professor for nutrition at the University of New Mexico. I have certifications in Eating Disorders (CEDRD) and Sports Dietetics (CSSD). All of which means I spend my days knee-deep in food talk – specifically sports nutrition and making peace with food.

my specialties

nutrition coaching

A healthy body is created based on wise, not perfect, decisions. Ladies, LIFE IS REAL and the sooner you can learn how to make food choices based on education and permission, not fear, the quicker you can give your attention back towards things that matter.

professional mentoring

If you are looking to pursue your Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian credential I am an iaedp Approved Supervisor and would love to work with you. My specialities include: entrepreneurship, sports nutrition, and eating disorders.

I NERD OUT about nutrition and I love getting others pumped about it. Some of my past presentations have included TEDxABQ, NM Academy of Nutrition Dietetics Conference, & The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Symposium.

“Taking the time to appreciate my body for the things it’s capable of doing is not something I’m in the habit of doing. After reading Jessika’s resources I’ve really been focusing on looking at my body as an instrument to help me love my life. I love that she is about enhancing who I am now and helping me learn to not punish myself for being me.”

“Jessika was my preceptor for six weeks during my dietetic internship. She always took the time to explain concepts to me, answer my many emails and help me become the dietitian I am today. She genuinely cares about being a wonderful preceptor and teacher, and it shows in how she delivers. I highly recommend Jessika as a mentor, she will go above and beyond!”
